Hi Tjitske and Damaria and thank you for your comments. A transcriptionist is an internationally accepted term for somebody who transcribes or types up dictation or recorded information.

What in SA is a transciptionist? This is a term that is not used in EU, UK or USA? What is it and does a transcriptionist do? Translation work or ?
